"The Baltimore Orioles want fans to spend their birthday at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. As a fan who has celebrated multiple birthdays at the ballpark, including the first-ever game at Camden Yards - the exhibition match-up with the Mets on April 3, 1992 - I'm all in favor of this new promotion. But will there be cake?As part of the 'Birdland Stimulus Package' unveiled last week by the team, the Orioles said Tuesday fans will be able to celebrate their birthday at the ballpark for free in 2009.
Fans can sign up to receive a voucher good for one free upper reserve ticket to any non-prime game in their birthday month. Prime games include the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. Fans with birthdays between January and March will receive a voucher to an April game and fans with birthdays from October to December can attend a September game for free.
An upper reserve ticket sells between $9 and $15.

The Orioles are also introducing an all-inclusive birthday deal for kids 14 and under and their guests. For $25 per person — $35 for prime games — each member of the birthday party will receive a game ticket in the terrace box area in right field, along with vouchers for a kid-sized hot dog, popcorn and soda."

Birthdays with the Birds
As part of the Orioles' new "Birdland Stimulus Package," the team has announced that fans can receive a voucher for a free upper-reserve ticket redeemable at a non-prime game (read: non-Yankees and Red Sox games) during their birthday month. The deal gets even better for fans 14 and under, as reported by the Baltimore Business Journal on Tuesday.
